STUPID PIECE OF CRAP CAR AND IT'S STUPID CHECK COOLANT LIGHT. THAT RADIATOR IS LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD BECAUSE THAT'S WHEN I HAD THE BLOODY THING REPLACED. IF IT IS CRACKED OR LEAKING AGAIN I SWEAR I'M GOING TO SET MY CAR ON FIRE.

Several months ago, the fan in my car died. This means that while I do get heat and AC in my car, it's not actually blown out. During the summer my car is stifling. I usually just roll down the window. During the winter, it's freezing. I usually just wear an extra layer.

I have to scrape all the frost off my car by hand since I can't rely on the heater to melt it. Today I learned something new: when your windows are cold, your breath will freeze to the windows and cover it with a layer of frost on the inside.

Dammit. I'm going to have to wait until the sun comes up before I can drive my car. -_-

miome called the BMV here and Indiana and discovered that their website is a load of bull. I have all the paper work I need to get my car registered. We went down there today only to find out that it was closed for Veteran's day. WTF? Veteran's isn't till Monday! So no registration for me.

Dell has managed to screw up getting me my laptop in new and interesting ways. This time they sent the new laptop to Raleigh. Yep. Despite me telling them to remove the old address from their files in July when ic alled about another issue and Miome telling them in email again what our new address is, Dell still managed to screw up. It's like watching a farce unfold before my eyes.

But... I have a HAT! I crocheted a hat and it is AWESOME. Miome even wants me to do one for her it's so nifty. This pleases me mightily. When I get the gloves done, I'll photograph the entire set (scarf, hat, gloves) and show it off. I am so pleased.

Today I am printing, filling out, and taking to my bank to be notarized forms so that I can request a few copies of my birth certificate from Orange Co., CA. This is the first step on the road to getting my car registered in Indiana and Indiana driver's license. I feel all adult.

I also have less than a month to get this done before my NC registration expires.

Erk. Perhaps I should not have procrastinated as long as I did...

So last week I got a card from NC reminding me that it was time for me to renew the registration of my vehicle for Wake County. Considering I now live in Indianapolis, this was something of a problem. I've been putting off getting my car registered in Indiana for long enough. Time to see what it takes to get an Indiana license and registration for my vehicle.

Oh. My. God.

The number of hoops I have to jump through just to get my car registered is mind boggling. I have to get the VIN inspected on it? And produce a Certificate of Origin? How do I obtain that? And of course, the licensing office neglects to explain. You have got to be kidding me.

Let's not even talk about getting my driver's license. I have to get a copy of my birth certificate (which has been misplaced during one of the moves my mom made because I sure haven't seen a copy of it) from CA because that is the only form of identification the BMV will take. Sigh.

This is already proving to be more trouble than it's worth and I haven't even started yet. -_-

We were told there was a good chance that our furniture would come in on Wednesday. No such luck. It will probably be Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Suck.

As most of you know, my car is a piece of crap. Now it's a piece of crap with no working fan. As if employing my ghetto AC (rolling down a window) wasn't bad enough. I swear one of these days I'm going to stop and piece are going to just keep going.
