When you marry, 1962 edition

shock
I think the best part about this book is the hints of the on-going drama of Brenda. Brenda being the 1960's girl who once owned this book and scribbles (terrible) poetry and comments in the margins. Make sure you read through to the end to get the as much of the story as you can.

Most of the rest of it just makes my brain hurt.

Woah. I hope Brenda and Zion were happily married and their baby was gorgeous.

The book itself is... wow. Um.

I do to. They deserve to be happy just to spite that book. HA!

Secret Life of an American teenager sounds much more interesting when it's set in the sixties with the hints we get of this story.

This book is HIGH-larious, and I bet it, or a similar version was in the schools down here (MS) well into the 70s.

The book is funny in a "Oh dear lord, they actually got away with saying these things?!?!" I would almost bet money that version of this book (or at least some of the information in it) was still being parroted to students years after it went away. Sadly.
